You Capture ~ Autumn
Well I guess it really is here then...
~ time for early evening sundown...
~ weather that can't make up it's mind...
(rainbows with no rain!)
~ walks just to admire the colours...
~ animals bedding down for the winter...
(a badger set on our lane)
~ hedgerows feeding the birds ready for those cold days ahead...
~ fields getting ready to yield their crop, for us and the animals...
and time for us snuggle down with some comfort food!
(that's my very first toad-in-the-hole)

Oh my goodness! You ROCKED this challenge. Your photos are the best from beginning to end. I not only love the variety but I'm impressed beyond measure with your skill in shooting that variety. I'd pick a favorite but I wouldn't know where to begin. And I have to add, your narrative was interesting, concise, and even poetic.
And I have to add again that my husband suggested I photograph corn stalks. I told him I'd tried that last year and it just didn't work. When I saw your first corn stalks picture, I knew that given the right eye, enough skill, and proper lighting it could be done to perfection. Wow!
