I♥faces ~ Let Them Be Little!

The theme of this challenge immediately made me think of this capture of my youngest boys this week.
To me 'let them be little' is all about an old-fashioned childhood.
To read the story behind this image see my other post today :-)

To see all the other sweet images entered for this week's challenge head on over to i♥faces :D

ATW Tuesday ~ Crash Pan Alley

Anyone who ever had children will completely understand this picture...the 'empty everything' phase has arrived in our house!
I have a cupboard loaded with empty-ables!! :D

2 minutes to unload, 2 to reload, 2 to empty, 2 to reload and when I got bored of that game I decided to provide alternative amusement...

Of course big-brother couldn't resist joining in with the fun...

It was so lovely to watch them play together.

And then he was off ~ to new mischief adventures!

I Heart Faces ~ Tickled Pink

This week’s theme is “Pink” in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness
and all those who have been affected by this terrible disease

I chose this image ~ although it was taken back in the spring ~ because of the water imagery ~ there's no purer sustainer of life than water ~ the life that cancer sufferers fight for and the life that they inspire us to embrace for all it's worth!!

ATW Tuesday ~ The Great Camp Out

Last week we were treated to an Indian summer.
Sadly we never made it camping this year, so I made the most of the sunshine & took the opportunity to pitch the tent and give it an air and scrub up.

I removed the bedrooms to wash them ~ and the children grabbed the chance to have a big R&T session in the now wide-open space ~ Baby included!!

The children, of course, took the opportunity to have a mass camp-out!!

It stayed up then of course, and became an extension of the house for work, rest and play...
(the following images are courtesy of my HTC Wildfire and some apps!)

Sadly the tent never was taken down before the bad weather set in again and it is still pitched in our garden and taking a beating with some hefty wind and rain (and no campers).
I'm glad the weather forecast is for a few days of warm sun later in the week ~ I hope they are right, then we can get it dry and down and stored away for winter :(

Now it's your turn ~ link up below and mention Communal Global in your post ~ share a little slice of your life with us  all :)

ATW Tuesday ~ Summer's Last Foray

Bizarrely summer has decided to invade autumn here in the UK and we have been revelling in temperatures up to 29C. That's warmer than it ever got here IN summer this year! Of course we are making the most of it and school moved outside ~ after-all, we live somewhere so beautiful it would be crazy to stay inside.

Of course, I had to get my camera out too ~ I didn't want to miss a great opportunity to catch some light and practice something I've been wanting to work on ~ open space.

Baby is very keen on being outside too ~ he can't get enough of crawling on the grass (and eating it if I let him)!

The spiders seem to be fooled by the sunshine too and have been building a plethora of webs and feasting on the now busy flies.

Why not share with us, a little glimpse of your corner of the world today, over at Communal Global ~ see you there...

Favourite Photo Friday ~ or 4!

It's really hard to choose A favourite, so I'm afraid you get four!!

6/8 in one shot (no.7 was there too, but not in shot and no.8 was napping) cooking gingerbread men together ~ I love moments like these!

Soft, chubby, baby hands that I want to remember for ever

The way he commando crawls and the way he grins back at us when he knows he is heading toward mischief!! ~ and those super-chubby, super-squishy chunks of thigh!!

And possibly my absolute favourite this week, because it will always remind me of this extra little summer we've had this week ~ at the end of September when there is supposed to a distinct chill in the air, we have been basking in 29C sunshine and long, warm evenings playing in the garden. Just for one more week the sun came back to bless us, before it goes into hibernation for a while...

Why not share your favourite shots with us all over on Lisa's blog.
See you there :-)
