Communal Global ~ "Village Fun-Day"

Ours is quite a small village and the playground had seen much better days! This summer, with the help of the local community, a new one has been installed ~ and it's wonderful to see all children of all ages having fun together. Friday was the 'Grand Opening' with bouncy castle, face painting and the local radio station along for the ride. It was a brilliantly fun couple of hours in the park with so many local folk there.

iheartfaces ~ Photo Challenge ~ Pet Week

A few weeks ago I did a photo-shoot for a friend.

Sam is a dog trainer with her own business and she needed some promotional shots as well as some family ones.

Koda is her beautiful Northern Inuit dog.

But Koda is also a cheeky adolescent and this picture just made Sam and me laugh aloud ~ it just about sums Koda up somehow!
