SOOC Saturday - Stock Piles
Our winter wood pile arrived today - well a bit of it! We've never had a wood pile before and I just love looking at it all stacked up in the garden. The birds like it too, as the wood is not long cut and full of creepy crawlies for them to nibble on.
With a view to this weeks You Capture being 'macro' I shot most of these in either macro or super-macro. I'll edit some of them for that meme, but these are SOOC for the purposes of this one.
While I was at it I looked up and saw the September sun gleaming through the tree above me - I decided to have a go at capturing that solar flare - not easy, especially when you are trying! I seem to manage it easier by accident ;-)
...and then I looked down, and the foliage caught my eye - don't you know even stinging nettles can be beautiful if you catch them right!
Now take some time to go and see what everyone else has captured SOOC this week, over on Melody's Slurping Life blog. :D

Gorgeous, beautiful shots, says I with the open mouth!
Mmmmm, beautiful and playful!
Those logs are beautiful, especially next to the green colors! Makes me want to go camping and burn them in a campfire! :)
I can't choose a favorite. These are well captured. I love the wood colors and texture. I'm always up for a flare and like you, my accidental ones are usually best.
I can almost smell the freshly cut wood :0)
Lovely captures.
Thank you for sharing.
Cheers

Very nice... the green leaf by the wood on the background makes such a pretty contrast. =)
