I ♥ Faces - Week 36 - “Contemplative” Photo Challenges

I had a hard time choosing my entry for this week, but in the end I went with the one with a story over the one that was more technically good - at the risk of not placing I guess ;-)

This summer has been the best we've had here in the UK for a few years and even had a few days when it was warm enough to go and play down at the local brook. All the kids had a wonderful time splashing in the shallow water, but NJ, bless him, just look at his face... He so wanted to go down, so wanted to summon up the courage to brave the chill, you can see his cogs whirring as he weighs up the pro & cons of it all - cold, wet & having fun, or warm, dry & bored! Quiet boredom won for a long time, but just before we were planning on leaving he decided he couldn't resist any longer and dared to paddle his toes - just a little! :D

Please leave me a comment and then take a look at this weeks other lovely thoughtful faces over at I ♥ Faces.
