One of these is new for me..
A photo I'm proud of...
Well that's a tough one!
I'm proud of so many of my photos for many different reasons,
but not least because they speak of the journey I have been making these last 18 months.
So here goes...
A repeat ~ purely because I really love it!
I'm proud of moment's captured ~ always to be remembered!
I'm proud of the friendships my girls make, share, and keep!
And I'm proud of this lot because they are mine ~ who wouldn't be!!
(I'm also proud I managed to get them all looking OK in one shot ~ all bar my goofing teen, but hey - that's teens for you!)
I'm proud of this growing young man, who still has a soft spot!
I'm proud of this photo... well, I just am!
And this swan was a bit proud too!

Hello you! Long time no see - my your brood are growing up fast - especially son 1 - very much the young man now - how is his photography coming along?
Duh - is it son 2 who's the photographer? They're like peas in a pod your boys!

Peas in a pod my sons maybe, but they are NOTHING alike as people!!
SON 1 is the photographer and he is doing great :) I just wish I could get him to apply himself to loading some of his good stuff (and there's lots of it) up on FLICKR instead of messing about adding silly captions to shots of his mates for Facebook!! But like I said, he's a teen! ;) He's so good, I often look at his shots and WISH I had taken it, was free to edit it and claim it as mine! He has a very different eye to me ~ and I love it :)
He's thinking about going to college next year to start a 'creative and media studies' diploma (the new 14-16 courses that colleges are running) with a view to carrying on to a photography AS/2 course at 16. Sounds good to me ~ a much better option for his arty mind than a mish-mash of unrelated GCSE's that he'll likely never use! College can lend him a PROPER camera too, so that will be a great thing :)
Sounds fab - how lucky to have such an opportunity when he's young enough not to have to pay for it!
