Black & White Wednesday ~ 3
A Princess....
a Prince...
...and a Project!
I set myself a little assignment one day.
This is my Gt,Gt Grandfather and the little girl is one of his nieces we believe.
The original is very damaged by light and age. I love the wonders of the digital age sometimes :)

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog.
Can't see the first photo (but have a glimpse of it in your Flickr Photostream at the bottom). Your prince is quite handsome. I absolutely love what you did with your old photo of your Gt, Gt, Grandfather. What a vast improvement. It truly is amazing what the digital age has allowed us to do with our photography.
These are great shots - I especially love your before and after. Nicely done...seriously. I imagine there was a lot of cloning and healing.
What a beauty! Love all of those freckles. :-)
I love what you did with the old photo... that must have taken some work.
I love the contrast in Your BW! (BTW, the first one is not coming up.)
Love the freckles!! I'd love to do some touch ups to old family pictures like yours...now I might have to give it a try! Thanks for posting!!
Wonderful. Love the sunshine in the first shot of your daughter.
Amazing before and after. I have a huge project ahead of me to do up all the old photographs (boxes of them). This has been inspiring. Thanks.
Beautiful! The light in the first photo is just lovely. I love old photos too and hang on dearly to the old once of grandparents and great grandparents.

Beautiful, they are such great photos, I love the first one
You did such a wonderful job on that B/A edit!! And I love the pic of your "princess"! Love her freckles! I'm a freckles girl too!
I love what you did to restore that old photo! Years ago, I sent one out to have it touched up and it cost nearly $100!
