YOU CAPTURE - 'Hopeful' & BEST SHOT
I decided to put the two meme's together this week as they are so closely related! Everything I shoot at the moment is about the hopefulness of Spring. I have even found myself going back and editing last spring's shots because I am so eager to see some blossom on the trees! We have snowdrops in the garden (last weeks SOOC) and crocuses are popping up everywhere. The daffodils are in bud, but not yet in bloom. The yellow gorse is coming into flower in the fields. The colour is coming back to the countryside bit by little bit. The trees are pushing up buds and I am Oh so eager to see those blossom flowers! In the village the main street is lined with cherry trees ~ I can't wait to see the blossom on those and how that street will look in full bloom. Can you tell I love blossom?! But best of all, this week we have seen the arrival of Blue Skies :D Not wintery grey-blue, but striking bright blue skies with full sunshine and enough warmth to do school on the lawn and play outside without coats :D
This week has been a welcome reminder that winters DO end and new life does usually struggle forth...
There are many things I am hopeful for in life at the moment ~ that the current DCSF bill trying to be forced through government, which would mean the undermining of parental rights and responsibilities in regard to their children's education here in the UK (particularly in relation to Home Education), would NOT get passed into law. I'm hopeful that we might get a new Government at the upcoming general election & that said new government will make a difference and work towards bringing back some of the freedoms & rights to the people of this country that have slowly, but surely, been surrendered over the last 13 years. I am hopeful that we won't get sucked ever more into the overbearing 'power' that is European rule. I am hopeful that this country will have a 'change of heart' and turn around from it's deteriorating values. I am not sure how to capture these hopes 'on film': the best that I can offer are pictures Spring, and words to draw the parallels.
I am hopeful that Spring is in the air...

wow those are beautiful...i'm wondering what the round pink thing is...never seen anything like that before. I love the background in that photo too...have no idea how you get that.
