FIX-IT-FRIDAY - #89 ~ "Waiting"
I didn't like the chairs in this much ~ it reminded me of naughty boys and headmasters offices! So I wanted rid of them. Other than that I couldn't see much wrong with the shot ~ no nasty shadows, clean, crisp, focused, not too warm or too cool, maybe only slightly red skin tones, but really nothing to be worried by. That left me with crop and create!!

#2 Bleached Sunshine
(my own 'one-click' home-made preset + synched adjustment brush from edit 1)

Because I work with JPG's all the time I am trying to build myself a little library of my own home-made presets. Not all presets developed for RAW work all that well on jpgs. However Kelly Hatchers are brilliant and on high quality jpgs they work really well with just one click ~ really they do!. With poorer quality ones all I find I usually have to do is adjust the exposure and maybe the brightness down a little. Easy!

I agree with you Caroline, the chair needed to go, but I didn't think of that until after (I did a rush job). All your edits are great. It's hard for me to pick a favorite. Nice presets!
Great job on the closeup -it's my favorite
Great job! #1 the clean edit is my favorite although the B&W comes in a close second!
Ooo, I love the crispness of your images. Great job!
~Catherine :)
I love your edits, Caroline --especially your clean edit and the Bleached Sunshine! Wow, you made your own presets. They're lovely! :)
I love the tight crop... that takes away the distracting background and focuses in on his face. Great portrait!
Have a wonderful weekend. :)
Great edits...love your crops!
