Now whatever you do don't ask me what I did - I just know it took me hours!! I just WISH Picnik would introduce editable layers - then I would be sorted, but here I am switching between Gimp & Picnik just so I can erase and replace bits properly and then get the final look I want. Picnik is by far my favourite editor in terms of effects and ease of use, but it simply has bits missing!!
I used the same rotation in both edits, because I liked it :D
I'm not TOTALLY happy with either edit, but I am simply too tired to do more - although I can see what needs doing:
On edit 2, her eyes are not quite right, but being one of the first things I did (in Picnik) I couldn't face starting over!
The edges are not quite perfect enough on edit one for my liking and I think maybe she is a bit overlit too.
But this will have to suffice for tonight - it was fun, but now I'm wiped! :D
Please comment - good and bad and advice to improve :D
And then go and see what other far more wonderful editors have done with this cutie-pie over at I ♥ Faces Fix-it-Friday :D

I really like them They are for sure fun edits and DO take forever. I am hoping picnik does the layers to soon. But till then keep up the fun stuff
I like the background with the hearts on it.
I think if you'd lightened the eyes in Gimp first, you would've been happier with the end result. I know what you mean about not wanting to start over though!
