Constructive Feedback Friday
Oh-Oh - can I make it before No.40!!
Here's a shot I took on Father's Day (UK). It was too dull in the original. I filtered it (because my S3 does not like above 100 ISO indoor shots) & lightened it. I only used Picasa for this one as we were off-line at the time. Normally I would use Picnik and/or gimp. I didn't do much else - maybe slight curve work I think. What do you think? Please leave your comments - good and bad ;-)

Such a neat shot... have you considered trying black and white?? I would think the details will just pop!!
Great job!
God bless-

What a sweet little girl.
I think you did a great job with your editing. It is tough with picnik and gimp, i think they are a bit limited some of the time.
The one thing I would say is it's just maybe a bit on the light side. However, that is pretty popular look and if that's what you are going for, SHAZAM, I think you are there.
I do this with all of my photos, I use the UNSHARP MASK in photoshop. I run that with 75, 2, 3 for the settings.
I decided to use the action "Binoculars" from MCP Actions. This sharpens as well and also gives the image a little more detail and color. Next, I ran a free action from Pioneer Woman, "SLIGHTLY LIGHTEN", i then lowered the opacity. I also took the blur tool and blurred out her lips a bit, just to make them more smooth. I decided to also add a bit of color to her skin with a photo filter and that was it.
Here's the image with my ideas: http://i445.photobucket.com/albums/qq178/boybariandad/frog-photoblog.jpg
I honestly don't think you needed to do much to this photo. Thanks for joining us today.

Thanks folks :D I will give the black and white a go. And no, normally I do not normally go so light, but in this instance I thought it made the roses on her dress stand out more. Love your edit though BB Dad - thankyou so much for playing with it :D
