I'm not familiar with those programs...Hi Caroline-<br /><br />I'm not familiar with those programs, but the basic idea is to take the part of the image you don't want to apply the texture to to another layer and put it on top of the textured layer. In Photoshop you could also do this with any of the selection tools. You could select your subject and then select-inverse and delete the inverse selection.
